Victoria Horticultural Society invitation to Special Zoom lecture

As part of our 100th anniversary celebrations, the Victoria
Horticultural Society is very pleased to welcome James
Alexander-Sinclair to a special meeting via Zoom on Saturday, August
21, 2021, from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. He will speak on the topic
“Gardening in a Changing World.”  James Alexander-Sinclair is one of
the most sought after garden designers in the UK.  He is also an
accomplished garden writer, contributing a regular column in
Gardener’s World magazine, and authoring award-winning blogs.  He is
currently Vice-President of the Royal Horticultural Society.  The

 VHPG Zoom Spring Study Event on Saturday February 27th from 10 am until 11:30 am.  Dr. Ross Bayton, botanist and taxonomist for Heronswood Garden, will be speaking on  “Making the Most of Maritime Gardens”.

The Vancouver Master Gardeners are holding their Spring Back 2021: Resilience event on zoom on Saturday March 27th and Sunday March 28th, 9 am-1 pm, each day.

Far Reaches Botanical Conservancy gave lectures at the VHPG 2013 Study Weekend.  They have 3 Zoom lectures:  Botanical Bright Spots in 2020; The Amazing Plants of Southern China; and Plant Hunting in the Pandemic on February 11th, February 25th and March 11th respectively.
